To use the POST https://api.diecuttemplates.com/dielines/ endpoint and generate dielines in custom dimensions, your account must have an active Dielines API monthly subscription. All other API endpoints are free and do not consume your monthly quota.
When you make a request to generate a custom dieline file in any format (for example SVG), 1 dieline is deducted from your monthly quota. Afterwards, requests for other formats, such as PDF or DXF, will not consume additional quota as long as the dimensions remain the same.
Exception — the demo template is free. Requests against the demo template ID becf-11101 do not consume any quota on either the production or the sandbox API. You can use it to evaluate the API end-to-end before subscribing.
Requests made to the POST https://sandbox.api.diecuttemplates.com/dielines/ endpoint do not consume any quota.
All sandbox calls are free regardless of template. To generate custom dielines with specified dimensions, use any template ID — the demo template becf-11101 accepts custom dimensions; other templates return their default options on the sandbox.
