The Dielines API is a powerful, hosted solution available via HTTPS that lets you generate custom dielines in PDF, DXF, and SVG formats, along with 3D mockups and sheet nesting layouts—all programmatically.

Sheet nesting & layout efficiency

For print production, the API also handles nesting (also known as imposition or layout) for any dieline you generate:

• List nesting templates applicable to a dieline, automatically filtered by its dimensions and material so you only see layouts that actually fit.
• Calculate sheet efficiencies across every applicable template — for a given sheet size, the API returns the optimal num_x × num_y count for each template, so you can pick the most material-efficient layout before committing.
• Create a nesting on the chosen template and sheet, and download the finished imposition.
