Install the plug-in manually
Most people get the plug-in from Adobe Exchange and the Creative Cloud desktop app installs it automatically. If that didn't work for you — the panel never appeared under Window ▸ Extensions, or the Adobe Exchange install failed — you can install it by hand in a couple of minutes. Follow the steps below.
Try Adobe Exchange first
The automatic install is simpler and keeps the plug-in up to date. Only use manual installation if it didn't work for you.
Manual installation steps
Install the .zxp
.zxp files install with a small free helper app from aescripts. Download it for your system below, open it, then drag the .zxp file onto its window.
Open the panel
Restart Illustrator, then choose Window ▸ Extensions ▸ Die Cut Templates.
Sign in
Log in with your Die Cut Templates account and start placing dielines.
The ZXP installer helper app is made by aescripts + aeplugins, not by Die Cut Templates. The plug-in you are installing is version 1.0.9.
