- The bottom and top pieces are combined in a single template, with the lid attached directly to the body; it opens and closes easily with its hinged structure, requiring no extra parts.
- The triangular flaps at the corners lock the side walls into an octagonal form, creating a sturdy, wide-based body; this allows pizzas and large-diameter sliced products to be placed flat.
- The semicircular finger notch on the front wall makes it easy to open the lid with a single motion; the tab on the front edge of the lid fits into the slot on the body, keeping the box closed during transport.
- The two round air holes on the lid allow steam to escape from hot-served pizza and pastries, preventing the dough from becoming damp and soggy.
